Because this clearly needs to be posted here, I am taking a moment from my very long LJ hiatus to fix the lack of The Hobbit trailer on this fan group. Cause really... I am bursting with excitement over James being in this! So if you haven't already seen it, go watch the trailer in HD and have a laugh at James in a silly dwarf hat.

I apologize for being a bad fangirl but life has kept me busy as heck. Anyway, that is a darn shame since James has been up to good lately with many excellent projects for us to squee for.

Frightfest 2010 "Outcast" info

Ain't it Cool News on "Outcast":

An excellent film. See it at all costs.Collapse )

I can't wait to see this. Already have it on my queue on Netflix.

Also, the BBC's "The Deep" is turning into an interesting suspense/thriller. The first two episodes have already aired and even though it's a bit of an "Abyss" rip-off with bits of camp, Jimmy is always good to bring in a great performance. Worth a looksee.

James at the Leuka Mini Masters 2010 (warning, it is golf):

(Off topic but btw, there is a vid of Philip Glenister who is totally lickable but i digress.)

There are two more movies out there but I haven't had much to share on them...

"The Way" of which Jimmy is part of the supporting cast. I know nothing about it.

There is "Matching Jack" as well which looks rather tear jerking family drama. Of course Jimmy brings on the charm he's so good at. Trailer available on the movie site.

And someone out there is reposting my photo manips as real James Nesbitt shots. LOL hee hee... I'll take that as a compliment. But I hope Jimmy doesn't take offense.

I know there has been much more I've missed but hopefully I'll be able to take this on and keep up with one of the most busy guys in entertainment.

As we start to creep closer to the annual season of shopping madness, advertisers everywhere are set to release their arsenal of commercials upon us in hopes to bring out the consumer in all of us this Christmas season. I've gotta admit though, when an ad features James Nesbitt, Stephen Fry, and Wallace & Gromit... now they're not only after my wallet, they're after my heart. :)

Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without...Collapse )

I'm not sure if this is from a reputable source but I received an email alerting Jimmy fans to be on the lookout for him at the Newbury Racecourse on Gentleman's Day on Friday 27th of November. I certainly hope that means the ladies (and willing men, of course) can attend. Sounds possible since James is active in the horsey races.

Also, he is participating in a series of Holiday adverts for M&S that poke fun at 'ageist' TV, along with other stars such as Philip Glenister (yum!) and Stephen Fry (*snuggles*). You must pop in and see the shot of Jimmy which is to melt for!

Last week both 'Occupation' and 'Five Minutes Of Heaven' won awards at the Prix Europa. Occupation took home best episode of a drama series or serial, while FMoH was awarded a special commendation in the same category. Congrats to James and both films' crews!

In other awards related news, James is scheduled to host the 12th annual British Independent Film Awards, celebrating independent filmmaking on December 6th.

Also, in a poll conducted worldwide, with 5000 women participating, the World's Sexiest Accent has been crowned- and for once it wasn't the French claiming the spoils! So what is the "World's Sexiest Accent?" Of course, all us Jimmy fans could of answered this one in a heartbeat. ;D That's right, the Irish accent came out on top, and the reports are all claiming it's "thanks to stars like Colin Farrell and
James Nesbitt.

In other news, there has also been talk of James being on the list of high profile stars to be featured in the new M&S Christmas advert that's going to be unveiled on November 11th. Some of other famous faces to star in the ad include Stephen Fry, Philip Glenister, John Sergeant, Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley, as well as Wallace and Gromit. The ad is reportedly going to feature clips of each star giving their answer to the statement "Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without...?"

Also, thanks to wickedfox
for pointing out that there are some new interviews with Jimmy on Occupation that can be found over on the BBCAmerica site http://www.bbcamerica.com/content/381/index.jsp
